| I just want to
say..... I want to say a big
thanks for the help you gave me on office parties. I volunteered to
organize our bosses party for his 34th. I did it as you said, all he could
say was:" Wow, I can’t believe you did that for me!" That was all he
could say time and time again. It was almost embarrassing. He was our boss!
It worked so well.

My wife has just done an amazing thing for me. After 13yrs of marriage
she has finally, and absolutely surprised me. Amazing! Where did you think
of that? The
road map idea to where we first met and the
kids dressed up as my gift said so much to me. It was worth all the
birthdays we've ever had.

We have all had our first children and the times spent together have
gotten less and less. I decided to arrange a party for Maree (one of the
girls in her late twenties-maybe 28? doesn't matter). She was blown away
when we were all at one place at one time and the brats were all taken care
of by their dads. We had a great night. Maree said to us thanks and made
those little stares she does and said have you been planning this awhile? I
had no idea.- it was a great time we had.

We have had a big day with our daughter. She's a 14 year old
teenager and moving into that pouty phase.
Her comment will live in my mind for a long time. She said: I know you care,
but this is Fantastic!". We will talk about today for a long time I hope.

My family listened to what I wanted. I'm so touched. This means so
much to me.

We planned our sons
first birthday early using your site.
We had it to fit in with relatives visiting when he was only 8 months old.
He kept babbling and getting really excited using goo gaa gaga gaa ha all
afternoon. He fell asleep after a feeding about an hour of starting the
party. We kept going. Really good to see our family relatives and the tips
on noise were the best.

You saved me from spending up big on a theme that no one wanted
and the kids all thought was weird. Stopping and thinking about what you
said help me a lot.

We did a party for my mother who was turning 74. We lost Dad two
years ago and she has not been the same since. We did theme it somewhat
around what she gives to us. We called it, Hooray for Harriett! Her only
response as she choked back tears - "I felt that today “I’m special”. Thank
you for some thoughts that were different.

Where do you get all those ideas
from please? I used the
themes versus ideas page to help a
friend who was out of control running a party for some other friends. The
ideas first tip was
excellent.
